No, It was not until I was out of high school.

 

WHO INFLUENCED YOU? (TEACHERS, GUIDANCE COUNSELORS, FAMILY, FRIENDS, ETC.)

 

One of my friends who was an operator told me to apply because he said that females tend to be better operators.

 

WHY DID YOU ULTIMATELY CHOOSE A CAREER IN CONSTRUCTION?

 

I chose operating heavy equipment because you never know what kind of job you might be on or where you might be, or where you might be operating.

 

WHAT WOULD YOU TELL YOUNG PEOPLE CONSIDERING POST-SECONDARY CAREER OPTIONS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?  WHAT WOULD YOU TELL THEM TO CONVINCE THEM TO CONSIDER AN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM?

 

I woud thell them that if they don't know what they want to do or to go to school for or school is not your thing, then look into an apprenticeship because you will be able to learn a trade while working.
