My family is filled with Electricians, but I am a Pipefitter

 

WHY DID YOU ULTIMATELY CHOOSE A CAREER IN CONSTRUCTION?

 

I took a welding class in high school through central-9 career school and I loved it.

 

WHAT WOULD YOU TELL YOUNG PEOPLE CONSIDERING POST-SECONDARY CAREER OPTIONS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?  WHAT WOULD YOU TELL THEM TO CONVINCE THEM TO CONSIDER AN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM?

 

In the apprenticeship program, we get an education for free, learn to work with our hands and get trained while working a full time job.

I have always loved working with my hands and I wanted to start something right after high school and start my career right away.
